Johnathan West

Johnathan West is an Associate Attorney at Stowell Crayk, PLLC. He specializes in defending respondents in immigration removal proceedings, with an emphasis on representing individuals in detained proceedings and securing their release through bond hearings. John also frequently represents applicants before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and advocates for petitioners in Federal Writs of Habeas Corpus and Mandamus before the Federal District Courts. Prior to entering private practice, John spent over eight years as an Immigration Prosecutor for the Department of Homeland Security and served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Salt Lake City Immigration Court. His extensive experience on both sides of the bench allows him to navigate complex legal issues with unique insight. John earned his J.D., Cum Laude, from J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and is fluent in Spanish. When he is not in the courtroom, you can find John entertaining crowds as a professional dueling pianist and singer.
