Douglas Stowell is a founder of Stowell Crayk and has a background in finance. He has over 25 years of legal experience and obtained his law degree from the University of Utah in 1993. He is widely recognized as a top criminal defense attorney in Utah, but his specialties also include real estate, contract and business disputes, family law, and personal injury.
Adam L. Crayk, the other founding partner, started the immigration division at Stowell Crayk, and has expanded the criminal defense side of the practice soon after he joined with Doug in 2005. Before he started Stowell Crayk he clerked for Chief Federal Judge Dee Benson. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Creighton University School of Law. Over the years, Crayk has focused his practice on “Crimmigration” or the crossroads between criminal defense and immigration law. He has extensive experience representing clients in deportation proceedings, asylum matters, and all types of family based immigration cases like adjustment of status consular processing and naturalization. He has extensive experience with VAWA, U Visas, DACA, SIJS, and TPS. Adam is regarded in Utah as a leading attorney in the field and is asked to teach CLE courses and appear as an expert witness with regularity.
