Samuel Knight is an associate attorney with extensive experience in criminal law and government policy. He earned his undergraduate degree from Weber State University, where he interned in Washington, D.C., with the Middle East Policy Council and at the Utah State Capitol with Representative Ryan Wilcox. He went on to attend Creighton University School of Law, earning both his Juris Doctor and a Master’s in Government Organization and Leadership. During law school, he clerked for the United States Senate Committee on Finance’s Oversight and Investigations team, competed in the International Moot Court in Nuremberg, Germany, and was a member of the advanced trial team. After nearly 14 years as a prosecutor, Stanger joined the firm in 2021. S. Todd Banks, a native of Spanish Fork, Utah, is the newest member of the distinguished criminal defense team at Stowell Crayk. A graduate of Brigham Young University and the Creighton University School of Law, Banks began his career at a general practice firm in Heber City, Utah. It was during his time there, covering a monthly public defender day at the Heber City Justice Court, that he discovered his passion for criminal law. This interest led him to Northern Nevada, where he clerked for the Honorable Jim C. Shirley in the Eleventh Judicial District Court. His experience there exposed him to the strategies behind winning written and oral arguments, skills he now applies to criminal cases just like yours.

Jason Jensen joined Stowell Crayk as an associate attorney in 2023 and specializes in Special Immigrant Juvenile cases, immigration removal defense, and criminal defense as part of the firm’s crimmigration department. He also holds a degree in Latin American Studies from Brigham Young University, where he later served as adjunct faculty, coaching the Model Organization of American States team.
